The hotel was really nice and had many amenities. We could not use the pool or sauna as we forgot our suits. Reception check in could have been more welcoming. We found she wasn't friendly to Anglais Canadians'. Check out was much more accommodating. Overall, a pretty nice place to crash for a night.

First impressions,left me looking for fault. |The girl at reception was unfriendly, we felt like we were beneath her. My french us non existent but I can usually get by. |She gave me the impression that, she would rather not deal with me, I stepped back. .my wife is a bit more tolerable. |We got our key and she instructed us to park in back. |In back taxes you down a level. We now had to climb stairs, after finding an unmarked door, no directions..|Had she instructed us to enter the front, 20 ft from our car, we would have entered on the main level, no stairs, our room was right there. |Later at night, I noticed NO CARS parked out back where there is NO LIGHT, pitch black. |I've been robbed in vacation, my car broken into..|So I moved my car ti the VERY WELL lit parking area in front. |There was no hand soap in the washroom. Squeeze bottles on the wall . My wife couldn't squeeze the bottles to get soap or shampoo. She has problems with her hands, no grip.. |Very small fridge. |No luggage racks, to rest and open a suitcase. .|No screen on sliding door of you want fresh air. ..no bugs.|No control for the A/C unit to simply draw in fresh air. |It didn't seem to work even for A/C which was too cold to use.. nor heat that I could tell|Breakfast was good. Self serve continental|Staff , young lady, was very friendly there. |Staff, 2 men at front desk as we were leaving, friendly and accommodating. |Unlike whe we arrived, with the |Girl at front desk. ||2 star if I was reviewing from our first impression..|3 star as it wasn't all bad..

We booked this place via a reservation app and we were treated like a lower class guest because of that. ||The place looks a bit tired from the outside, but inside is clean and modern. Unfortunately the service was very poor. ||At check in we were not given any information, not even the location of the room! We had to ask about facilities, breakfast, restaurant, everything! The receptionist only gave us the card to access the room. ||We were told that the kayaks were not included in our fare, however, they are free for hotel guests. ||The breakfast was average but the croissants were from the previous day. ||The new restaurant that operates from the hotel, is really good! It’s called Un Vrais Delice and it is delicious. It does not belong to the hotel. ||We will not go back to this place to stay but we will go back to Un Vrais Delice.

Our room was lovely, very clean, very quiet, and with a very comfortable bed. I only wish I had had instructions on how to turn on the sink tap, and work the shower! Service was friendly and the breakfast was basic but delicious.

Nice facilities well maintained landscape. Very nice room but very uncomfortable beds with springs that poke at your .back. service is horrible. Very unfriendly staff and very unaccommodating. They make you feel like they are doing you a favour when you need something. Excellent restaurant on site but not part of the hotel.

A hotel that needs an update for the rooms. Old furniture, uncomfortable hard bed, small bathroom with no space to put your stuff. The included breakfast was very good although limited selection. We didn’t have time to use any of the many features like spa, pool, electric bikes but looked nice and the pool looked to be newish…. So overall a little disappointed.

Loved everything! It was relaxing and beautiful view! It would be nice to have access to more hot tubs and a continous access to a fire in the outside area.

Was in Knowlton for the weekend and hotel was our base.Clean rooms ,staff are friendly. Rooms have no USB outlets()TV is very old you can’t cast to it (?) Hotel need up grades for the price they charge . However the bed was comfortable .Water in shower does have a strong sulfur odor since it’s most probably sourced from a well but they supply spa scented soap to hide the smell possibly(?) Shower has good pressure and clean BUT the tub has a strange shape to make it drain better so it’s not flat and very slippery with no bars to grab if you do slip so we put a small towel down in the shower and that remedied the situation.The continental breakfast is alright but not in abundance nor much to choice , no hot food offered , yogurt are in small dishes,some fresh fruit, croissants …overall not great. Would I ago there again ? For the cost I might try some other local B&B next time since this was rather pricy for what we got
